A word of caution, however: careful attention to labor laws is highly recommended before importing a brand to Italy. Although a considerable degree of liberalization has been introduced in recent years, Italian labor law is still highly protective towards employees in comparison to many other countries. Europe’s leading franchise show Organised by Infopro Digital and the French Franchising Federation, Franchise Expo Paris is a major franchising event on the world stage, supporting all project developers and people wishing to launch a business in fulfilling their entrepreneurial goals and raising their awareness of the advantages of franchising. One of the main priorities of the 42nd edition of Franchise Expo Paris is the visitor experience. “This new edition looks very promising. We redesigned our proposition last year to make Franchise Expo Paris the unmissable tradeshow for entrepreneurship in France and abroad. “We want to attract all project developers, and we are banking on this new format to appeal to even more brands and visitors,” said exhibition director, Sylvie Gaudy. Without brands, there wouldn’t be a trade show. Therefore, Franchise Expo Paris also reaches out to all franchising networks in France and further afield, covering areas as diverse as building, automotive, beauty, hotels, hospitality and childcare. More than 90 sectors converge at the show each year to recruit new franchisees, plan their geographical expansion and meet experts. Indeed, Franchise Expo Paris also boasts around 100 business creation partners, who attend the show to offer their advice and support to business creators, project developers and networks. Master Franchise Summit For the second year, Franchise Expo Paris is organizing an exclusive event at which French and foreign master franchisees and investors in search of new business opportunities can meet franchisors looking to expand into new geographies in France or abroad.
